There are two almost identical versions of this bookmark.
The second version, recorded as sb861, has the woven initials " A A " between the portrait images. The first version, the one above, does not have these initials.
It is not know, although it is assumed the version above without the initials was produced first, and the version sb861 produced second. This assumption is reinforced as there is a later bookmark relating to the actual marriage of the Princess and Prince, sb1308 - " Married at St. George's Chapel Windsor March 10th 1863 ", and that has the woven initials.
