The embossing around the silk panel is typical of that found on the ALPHA postcards, rather than Stevens. It is believed that Stevens made only some of the Alpha postcards (being those with his embossing), and there is doubt as to who made the rest of the Alpha cards. These doubtful cards have the same embossing as the ship card above.
