This silk above relates to Frederick III's wife, the Empress Victoria, daughter of Queen Victoria, whose wedding took place in London on 25 January 1858.
Her husband became Emperor of Germany in March 1888 but he died within the year (see so264). The Empress Victoria (also known as Empress Frederick after her husband's death) died in August 1901.

Other comments:
The title KRONPRINZESSIN (Crown Princess) refers to The Princess Victoria, Princess Royal, the first child of Queen Victoria and Albert, of Great Britain. Being a Royal of the British monarchy, she retained her title of CROWN PRINCESS.

Victoria was born on 21 November 1840, and died on 5 August 1901. She had four sons and four daughters, the eldest son becoming Wilhelm II of Germany [ so572 on this site ].
