A portrait-size picture of the Queen, facing right, with the woven wording above:
Here, the Queen appears to be more elderly than in the 1887 Golden Jubilee portrait, and this one may well have been issued to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee in 1897.
It is noteworthy that the woven credit to T. Stevens occurs at the top of the silk, in the same way that book-markers and similar articles were marked. {In Godden's book, he has an image of this silk portrait with the Stevens credit at the top. The image above has it at the bottom. Elsewhere I have seen the bookmark with the credit at the top, so it would seem that the silk above was cut off in the wrong place.}
