The rare, late Stevens silk (half length, full face) portrait was first listed on label 32+32 of c. 1910.
QUEEN MARY (so384) was issued as a natural pair to GEORGE V. Examples are normally mounted on type G card-mounts, with the late credit 'Woven in silk by Thomas Stevens (Coventry) Ltd.' The portrait is, however, also found in postcard form. Other comments:
