Other comments: From research conducted by members of the Stevengraph Collectors Association on the stiff backing papers used to support BOOKMARKS, they concluded that where the printing was " SOUVENIR WOVEN AT THE WORLDS . . . ", the bookmark had been woven by STEVENS. Where however the printing was " SOUVENIR OF DISCOVERY . . . ", the bookmark was attributed to Mannion. {The unresolved issue though was that it was probable Stevens had actually woven many of the Mannion silks, and simply attached them to the relevant stiff backing paper.} Following this logic, it would seem that of the PORTRAITS above, the one on the left is definately STEVENS, whilst the one on the right should be attributed to MANNION.
