This late landscape Stevengraph shows Warwick Castle from the river. It is one of the twentieth-century series of landscape views of castles which include Kenilworth Castle, Windsor Castle, Balmoral Castle and Conway Castle.
Specimens are normally large, approximately 7 1/4inches long; but a smaller, postcard version occurs only 3 1/2inches long. The subject is not listed on standard back-labels. It was used as a calendar picture, specimens being recorded with a 1939 calendar, although some examples may have been issued purely as decorative silk-woven pictures.

The Stevengraph silk above was also used in the 1939 calendar
