Godden emphasises that this portrait silk was predominantly issued as a calendar, and rarely as a mounted portrait.  

The name of the distributor on the image above is "Mr. T. Reid, 81 Virginia Street, Glasgow,", and most of these calendars have his name.
The image below though, whilst identical to the one above, has the name of "Mr. H.M. Swales, 5 Gore Street, Piccadilly, Manchester", and is shown here as it is unusual to find this name.
