Composed of three panels
each measuring approximately 7.5cm by 10.0cm;
and overall, 19.5cm by 9.5cm when open

The case is made of a dark red coloured velvet, and as can be seen, " THOMAS STEVENS, COVENTRY " is printed on the paper packet containing the actual needles.
The view of the Crystal Palace is also identical to the image on Stevens' postcard [sc272 - Crystal Palace]
