The images above are of the same basic woven silk rectangle. As can be seen, they would have been issued with silk fringes at top and bottom. The third, right most image, is of the same silk mounted in a modern card mount, so the fringe is obscured.
Whilst there is no woven name, there can be no doubt they were all woven by STEVENS. |
