Robert Arthur Talbot Gascoyne-Cecil was the 3rd Marquess of Salisbury. Born 1830 and died 1903.
He was British Conservative Prime Minster in 1886-1892; 1895-1900; and 1900-1902.
He was elected an MP in 1853 and became Disraeli's Foreign Secretary in 1878.
Whilst Prime Minister, he also served as his own Foreign Secretary between 1887-1892 and again between 1895-1900.
