It is not known how this bookmark is signed on the reverse, although as can be seen in the image above, this bookmark is still associated with the stiff backing paper, and that is signed with the "THOMAS STEVENS" name.
Of some concern however is that this design is almost identical to the Welch & Lenton bookmark, owe640: TO A DEAR FRIEND / (flowers) / Sweet and peaceful, and also the silk bookmark in the image above is not actually attached to the backing paper. The difference between the Welch & Lenton bookmark and the one above being a very small difference in the top decoration.
