It is interesting to see the Union Jack and Danish flags on this bookmark. As well as being a Christmas bookmark, it possibly marks the arrival of Princess Alexandra in March 1863, the future wife of Edward, Prince of Wales, and would hence date this bookmark to circa Christmas 1863.
