This bookmark is still attached to the stiff backing paper used to support it in the post, and on that paper is printed the name: " THOMAS W. BAND, Manufacturer, COVENTRY. "
The design of this printed logo though is that of Welch & Lenton, and the actual bookmark is signed: "WELCH & LENTON. COVENTRY" on the back top turnover.

In view of this link, it is assumed that BAND was an agent for Welch & Lenton.
