In many respects the design of this bookmark is identical to that of Caldicott's oca60 - A Prosperous (image of Christmas) And A Happy New Year.

There is a Diamond Registration Mark woven into the reverse pointed end, with the registration date of 13 November 1862.
Godden records this bookmark design as having been registered on that date.
