As the top turnover of this bookmark is missing, it is not known how this bookmark is signed, although it should be: "E. BOLLANS & Co. LEAMINGTON." on reverse top turnover.
There is however a Diamond Registration Mark woven into the reverse bottom pointed end. BOLLANS registered a design on 8 November 1870 with the same title words as the bookmark above, and it is hence reasonable to assume this bookmark was made by BOLLANS.
