Signed on the front: H. SLINGSBY NUNEATON.  Godden records a sash with this title as having been recorded on 15 July 1870. This would normally be recorded by Slingsby as a Diamond Registration Mark being stamped on the reverse of the sash. It is unknown if there is such a mark on this particular sash. |
