This silk has not previously been recorded.
It is probable this silk was woven in artificial silks. Whilst this bookmark does not have the MELLOR BROS name woven anywhere, the reference to " SPECTRUM ", and the basic design are the same as Mellor Bros 1977 calendar (see ome8), to the extent that this bookmark is probably also of their weaving. |
