It is not known how this bookmark is signed. It is recorded as of G. J. C. manufacture as it can be seen from the image of the bookmark still attached to the backing paper that this is a bookmark from " THE EMMANUEL SERIES ". That series was made by either E. K., and a different design is already attributed to them, or by G. J. C.

This same title, but not the design, is recorded by MARSHALL, MORGAN & SCOTT, as omm 30, and also by E. K., as oek 20, although this version does not have "THE EMMANUEL SERIES" woven on the reverse.
