Of Silk picture: 13.0cm square

The silk was woven by CARTWRIGHT & SHELDON, as a commission for GREAT HOUSE TAPESTRIES, who were responsible for the design. Each picture had a back label giving the issue number (of 850).

The printed words of the back label give the full title of this silk " THE CAT WHO WALKED BY HIMSELF ".
