These same tapestries were also issued as Greetings Cards. It is worth noting that as a picture, there is usually a brown edge to the actual tapestry, whilst as a Greetings Card there is a single printed line a small distance from the edge.
In the image above, the brown edge can be seen clearly, suggesting this tapestry was issued as a framed picture. This picture does not have a printed title on the front. It was however issued as a greetings card, being included in the Cash's 1995 Sales Catalogue with Greetings Card No: 806 {recorded on this site as cash-card0255 - Steam Engine). There is also a back label with the CASH'S name and picture title: This same woven tapestry was also issued by CASH'S with the alternative title of " STEAM TRAIN ", with a back label giving a brief history of George Stephenson: |
