The image above was kindly donated by Pete Cave, who, on his excellent web site, records that this bookmark was made in Connecticut. As such, it would probably originally have been issued with the top turnover pushed though a slot in a fold over card, with the CASH'S name woven on the reverse.
The wording would probably have been:
