There is also recorded on this site a 1903 Christmas card by Grant which includes a woven silk with words and the address of Mr & Mrs Grant.
Apart from the omission of the address, the silk above is identical to the silk of that card, and it is possible the card above was intended to be a Christmas card for sale to the general public.
