Comments:
Grant postcards usually have printed card designs, although it is now believed they also made two variety of embossed ship and Hands Across The Sea postcards.

The essential feature of the embossing on the silk above is the anchor design in each corner.

From the recorded silk R.M.S. Caronia {gc408 on this site} which has the Grant name printed on the card, we know that embossed silks with an anchor design in each corner, as the image above, were made by Grant.
