Comments:
Pope Leo XIII was born in March 1810, appointed as Pope in February 1878, and died in July 1903.

The Exhibition itself opened in May 1903 and closed in October 1903. The Pope's death hence occured during this exhibition, and that might be the reason for this postcard.

Whilst the actual card is certainly that of GRANT, the silk itself is probably not of his manufacture, as it has been seen as a loose silk with the Fellinger & Hassinger name woven below the portrait:
