The image above is of the favour un-made up. The top would normally be folded over to retain the pin, and the bottom would similarly be folded over to form the V shape.
As shown however, there is no woven makers name on the favour, although the President of the Stevengraph Collectors Association reports that this favour has been identified as of GRANT manufacture at the Coventry Herbert Museum, and is hence attributed to GRANT. |
