It is not known how this bookmark is signed on the reverse turn-over, although as the design is typical of many of the GRANT bookmarks (see for instance " Souvenir woven in the Columbian Exposition Chicago 1893 / (woven line) / (eagle, two flags & branch) / The Star Spangled Banner / (eagle and shield) " - recorded as gb2220), it is reasonable to assume it is of his manufacture.
