Comments:
The bookmark above was woven by GRANT, and whilst it is unknown how it is signed on the reverse, the image above to the left has it still attached to the stiff backing paper with the GRANT name printed. The identical bookmark is also recorded above, but with the E. ROLLASON & SONS name woven on the reverse pointed end turn-over. ROLLASON is more usually recorded as being the designer of Charles Newsome silks.
