It is not known how this bookmark is signed, although, as can be seen from the image above, it is still attached to the stiff backing paper, with Thomas Stevens printed logo dated to the 1906 period.
The bookmark would hence normally be signed, "T.STEVENS. COVENTRY.", on back at pointed end: What is of real interest though is that this bookmark is identical to the Welch & Lenton bookmark, recorded as owe48 on this site. It is known that Welch & Lenton were at one time designers for Stevens, but that was in the late 1800's, not in the early 1900's were this bookmark is dated.
