Comments:
This silk is mounted, on the reverse of which is stuck a label which says "Manufactured by Lester, Harris & Co., Great Heath Works, Foleshill, Coventry". This is an alternative name for the weavers known as "LESTER & HARRIS".

A second image, kindly provided by Jacqueline Gibney, New Zealand, is recorded on this site, and there is a great deal of similarity to the image above. On that image, the weavers name is clearly visible as "LESTER & HARRIS". It is therefore believed that these silks were made by the same weaver.
